The Photographic Society of Malaysia was founded in 1956 to promote photography as an art form. Membership is open to everyone, and as members, you grow with us as photographers and discover the exciting and varied world of photography.
The 30th International Malaysia Salon Exhibition 2012
The 30th International Malaysia Salon Exhibition, a biennial exhibition, will be held next year.
Following the major success of the 29th Exhibition, where an online entry system was made available, the 30th shall be online too. To enter 30th Malaysia

The Society is indeed indebted to our Life President, Mr Teoh Kok Kee, for his continued support towards The Society's activities and well being.
Mr Teoh has always have The Society's well being in his heart, and no amount of words can ever represent the honour and gratitude The Society has over Mr Teoh's continued support.

Showing festivals and celebration in Malaysia
only, eg Hari Raya etc.
Members are to submit 4 BW/Colour prints, in 12"/10" x 8". Rules are the same as 2011. No superimposition or composite images are allowed.
All three contests shall be judged at 2.00 pm at The Society's HQ. The accumulative points from the three contests will determine the Overall Champion as well as The best Photo Of 2012. All the best!

Theme : Model Photography Contest
The judging for The Society's Annual Members' Gathering 2012 Model Photography contest was judged on 8 April 2012 at The Society's HQ. The Honorable Judges were Dr Wong Kum Weng, Mr Khong Miaw Leng and Mr Goh Chor Tian, all distinguished experienced judges. The results are :

The 1st assessment for the APSM for the year 2012 shall be held in June, and all members wishing to apply for the APSM are to submit their portfolios by latest 30th May 2012.
